Large 3 inch blue balloon-shaped buds open to upward facing stars on 24-30 inch plants. A long lived perennial this variety blooms for months each summer becoming more prolilic as the seasons go by. Buahy plants are multi-stemed providing loads of puffy buds and blooms simultanesly in light shade and full sun in well drained soil. Hardy in zones 4-9, Platycodons make excellent cut flowers.
